Blends of mostly solid paraffin hydrocarbons obtained from de-waxing of highly refined mineral oils. The respective grades are characterized by pour point and oil content values. They are usually used for candle production, in cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, for food processing purposes and others. They are produced with different oil contents of 1.0 % and 1.8 %. Refined paraffins are white to green-yellowish (SAYBOLT min. 25); non-refined paraffins are yellow-brown to brown.
