Slackwaxes are blends of solid paraffin and isoparaffin hydrocarbons with specific oil content, which are obtained from de-waxing of highly refined mineral oils. They are homogeneous, plastic to solid materials of yellow to yellow-brown colour with a slight specific odour. These slackwaxes are used for various technological operations, for production of candles, shoe polishes, cardboard boxes, insulating and impregnation coatings, and manufacturing matches.
